AP Professionals of Rochester is pleased to announce the opening of a new division focusing on Engineering and Operations recruiting. The division, housed in AP’s current location in Linden Oaks, will focus on direct hire and contract placements in the manufacturing sector.
“We have noticed a need in the Rochester market for engineering recruiting for the past few years,” said AP owner Mark Pautler. “We are excited to offer AP’s level of service and professionalism to this new sector,”
The Engineering & Operations Division
Jennifer Garigen has been promoted to Division Director of the firm’s new division as of March 2017. She has been with AP for 17 years, focusing on accounting, finance, and human resources recruiting since 2009. A Churchville resident, Garigen is local to the Rochester area, and a graduate of St. John Fisher College. Prior to that she worked across various sectors and industries focusing on administrative support placement.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this new division at AP Professionals,” said Garigen. “Rochester has a growing manufacturing industry and incredible local talent. I am excited to connect both and keep them in the community.”
The focus of this new division will include several types of engineering as well as engineering management and director-level manufacturing roles. Other positions will include quality control, purchasing, and project management. As with the other divisions at AP, the goal will be to partner with the top manufacturing companies in the Greater Rochester area to find passive and active candidates.
AP Professionals’ Rochester office currently has 15 employees along with over 100 contract employees. The office was founded in 1996 and has focused on staffing for accounting, finance, HR, administrative, marketing, and customer service positions. AP also has offices in Buffalo, Syracuse, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., and Sarasota, Fla.
