Financial Reporting Manager

Newly created position with a stable, well-established organization. Private company with room to grow internally because of their larger size. This person will manage the financial reporting packages for several of the organization's entities. They will also perform financial analysis and supervise several individuals on the team.

The team is onsite, but they do offer one remote day per week once acclimated, if someone wants that. Prior supervisory experience is helpful, but honestly I believe that a strong Sr. Accountant who's ready for the next step in their career will be considered too.

• Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages.
• Ensures GAAP compliance with corporate financial accounting policies and procedures.
• Arranges and coordinates the preparation of data required for external audits of company records.
• Oversees the monthly reconciliation process of balance sheet items to meet financial reporting package requirements.
• Reviews and approves general ledger entries posted in the system.
• Leads the annual corporate overhead budgeting process and reviews the monthly variance analysis and investigates variances.
• Responsible for overseeing the treasury and financial reporting processes, including supervising individuals within those roles.
• Responsible for managing the company’s supporting systems, including general ledger reconciliation and credit card softwares.
• Oversees the company’s Corporate, Sales, and HUT tax filings.
• Ad hoc project work as assigned.

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA preferred, but not required

• 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation experience
• prior supervisory experience preferred, but not required
