Description

AP Professionals of Rochester has partnered with a local insurance brokerage firm in search of an Account executive. The Account Executive is a client-facing role that demands expertise and technical proficiency, tasked with spearheading Relationship Management efforts and fostering revenue growth within established accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Champion cross-selling initiatives driven by client needs, leveraging a deep understanding of USRBP's extensive offerings.
  • Proactively identify and drive sales activities aimed at introducing new products and services to existing accounts.
  • Cultivate trust and credibility with our current clients, seeking referrals from those who value our support.
  • Play a key role in the Request for Proposal process, including thorough analysis, comparison, and presentation of results to client leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to identify opportunities and promote additional services to our existing clients.
  • Contribute significantly to critical business objectives, including client retention, satisfaction, revenue growth, and the overall enhancement of USEBSG's value to clients.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with decision-makers within our existing clients.
  • Develop and expand relationships with cross-segment and cross-functional teams within USRBP.
  • Provide resolution support and oversee junior service team members.
  • Contribute to the development, mentorship, and performance management of junior staff.

Education

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in client service within the employee benefits sector, encompassing major medical, voluntary, and/or worksite benefits.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Mandatory Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, suitable for interactions with diverse team members and clients.
  • A profound client service mindset and the capability to respond promptly and effectively to all forms of communication.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of major medical, voluntary plans, and consumer behavior trends within the benefit industry.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of working with and negotiating with carriers and vendors.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the competence to lead and facilitate meetings with high-level client contacts.
  • Robust organizational aptitude.
  • The skill to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities for evaluating, synthesizing, and recommending best practices based on client data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
  • Sound financial acumen.
