A growing local company is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team! The Accounting Manager will coordinate and supervise activities of the general accounting, credit, and cost departments.


  • Consolidates and analyzes financial and marketing data; prepares financial statements and audit financial forecasts.
  • Develops and monitors intercompany reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Develops, implements and tests internal control processes.
  • Conducts GAAP research and analyzes impact of technical accounting matters.
  • Oversees preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitors and maintains cash disbursements, collection, payables, and accounts receivable.
  • Participates in and implements monthly financial close.
  • Participates in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management financial reporting package and executive summary schedules.
  • Problem solves situations involving the development of actual costs and standard costs from statistical and financial data.
  • Act as the company resident HR Representative.
  • Acts as a company liaison with corporate accounting staff regarding maintenance of the company books of account and company assets in accordance with principles and regulations.
  • Examines and interprets unusual data, criteria, system formal changes, and consults both operation and Technology Unit (TU) management on procedures.
  • Establishes and administers procedures for the accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions.
  • Prepares and executes various financial reports and accounting internal control activities so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relative field required.
  • Master’s Degree Desirable.


  • 6 – 8 years of experience in accounting is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in large project accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  • Experience using Excel Spreadsheets and ERP/MRP software systems.
