Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a medical device manufacturing company in search of an Associate Product Manager. This individual will deliver new product launches and strategic business initiatives under the direction of the Product Manager. Must have a bachelor’s degree and be eager to learn. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply and must be teachable! Occasional travel will be required.

This is a contract, contract to hire, or direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with customer clinical teams to establish new product design needs, coordinate production samples with the company’s R&D department, and partner with the Product Management Director on new product rollouts
  • Collect and benchmark competitive product specifications for new product development, outline time to market timelines, and work directly with the manufacturing team to coordinate samples and production requirements
  • Evaluate new product samples against desired specifications, develop production plans and manufacturing forecasts, and work with teams overseas to assess potential suppliers
  • Assist in the development of sales presentations and marketing materials, prepare documentation for bid submissions and sales quotations, and interface with customers on general account support, deliveries, and new orders
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple disciplines and departments, present new product updates to the team, assist in cross-organization deep dive analysis that will impact business, operations, and partnership strategies
  • Perform pricing and margin analysis at the product and category level
  • Participate in new product strategy development and the execution of marketing training materials and collaterals to maintain salesforce competency and drive new product sales
  • Support the product management team on periodic and ad-hoc deliverables, including, but not limited to, maintaining FDA registrations and other deliverables, and assisting with digital programs and web development initiatives
  • Assist with warehouse and logistics planning, distribution workflows, and forecasting

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a degree in a business or technical field preferred
  • Background in bioscience is a plus
  • MBA or master’s degree is a plus

Experience

  • Experience in Marketing, Product Management, or Program Management
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • 10% travel required, domestic and international
