CFO

AP Professionals has been retained by our client on an exclusive search! Leadership opportunity with a growing, small to mid sized company here in Rochester. The CFO will partner with other executives and team members to enhance financial strategy and operational performance. A hands-on approach is needed, with deep involvement in the day-to-day financial activities. Equity/ownership piece to the overall compensation package!

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall goals
• Analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to the executive team to guide decision-making
• Take an active role in overseeing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Work closely with the finance team to manage and execute routine financial tasks
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• MBA and/or CPA highly preferred

• 5+ years of financial management experience
• Proven ability to manage financial operations and partner with executives to guide decision-making
