Coating Technician

AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Coating Technician. In this role, you will be an integral part of the production process, ensuring every product meets our rigorous quality standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where precision, efficiency, and teamwork are at the core of everything.

8:30am – 5:30pm  during  training.  Hours TBD after training and must be flexible. A/B shifts.

• Inspect and sort incoming orders, ensuring all customer tools are properly documented.
• Thoroughly clean, wash, and prepare equipment before advanced coating processes are applied.
• Manage pre-coating treatments such as protective dipping to ready tools for finishing.
• Assist in loading and reloading coating machines to maintain a smooth production flow.
• Operate blasting equipment for both sand and wet blasting of parts and fixtures.
• Execute finishing tasks including packing and staging products for customer pick-up or shipment.
• Coordinate shipping logistics using major carriers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
• Perform occasional pick-ups and deliveries (valid driver’s license required).
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas—including coating bays, blasting rooms, and storage—to support a safe, organized environment.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors to support overall operations and customer satisfaction.

• Possess technical aptitude; familiarity with coating processes and maintenance equipment is advantageous (training provided).
• Maintain a valid driver’s license for occasional transportation duties.
