Contract Senior Accountant

Consulting opportunity! AP Professionals has partnered with a local manufacturing organization for an estimated 6 month contract. There's a chance for permanent hire, but can't be guaranteed. Consultants with prior accounting experience in manufacturing, and especially cost accounting, are preferred. Onsite role located in the city. No true budget in mind, as they're simply open to hearing what the market is bearing.

• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Cost accounting
• Fixed assets
• Sales and use tax
• Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis, including variance reporting
• Assist with forecasting
• Special projects and duties as assigned

• bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics

• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and cost accounting
