AP Professionals has partnered with a specialized private manufacturing company seeking a Controller to manage the accounting and back-office operations.  This role would oversee a small team and help with future acquisition plans.


  • Manages all financial controls over the company operations. Updates controls as needed.
  • Provides financial guidance and recommendations to business leaders in coordination with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Understands and provides methodologies for product costing and pricing.
  • Supervise the accounting team and other administrative personnel, including IT.
  • Develop costing and pricing methodology for products.
  • Responsible for building the annual budget. Provide monthly analysis of budget to actual expenses.
  • Builds forecasts and projections of business activities and cash flows to anticipate cash requirements- both short and long term.
  • Determine the profitability of each manufactured part and provide appropriate financial illustrations.
  • Manages fixed assets and plans for future asset purchases.
  • Advises leadership on the financial impact of future business plans.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.


  • A minimum 5 years of related accounting experience that includes a broad exposure to daily accounting tasks as well as monthly and annual financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience supervising others and managing functions and projects to completion.
