Corporate Accounting Manager – Contract

Our client is in search of an experienced contractor to help during a leave absence.  This position will work closely with the global Controllers group and have direct team responsibilities for quarter and year end.  Based in Rochester, NY this is a hybrid opportunity.

• Work closely with the worldwide Controllers Group and other cross-functional teams in supporting the completion of various internal/external financial reporting deliverables as well as providing assistance with the monthly close and consolidations process.
• Support the worldwide Controller Group in performing Corporate, US Division, manufacturing and inventory related journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and analysis to assist in the worldwide consolidation under US GAAP.
• Support activities outside of financial reporting and will assist with various other Corporate owned technical issues, as well as involvement various special projects as they arise.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting matters desired.
• Experience with general ledger financial close process required.
