Director of Engineering and Validation

AP Professionals has exclusively partnered with a growing manufacturing company in search of a Director of Engineering and Validation. This is a highly visible role overseeing employees, capital budgets, and investments and ensuring alignment with business goals. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related science is required (master’s degree is preferred). At least 10 years of experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment is required, with at least 7 years involving a management role.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

• Maintain facilities and equipment for designated site.
• Oversee budgets and ensure proper reporting of projects and investments.
• Develop team skills, encourage generation of new ideas, and ensure tools are in place to foster a supportive environment.
• Identify areas for improvement and determine organizational changes.
• Lead industrial investment projects to provide improvement solutions.
• Determine suppliers for project needs and coordinate supplier activities for smooth operation.
• Oversee the progress and scheduling of industrial projects.
• Determine and implement validation strategies that comply with GMP guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science is required.
• A master’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in an FDA regulated environment.
• 7+ years of experience in a management position.
• Experience with manufacturing, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of plant systems including HVAC and boilers.
