Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company specializing in producing cable assemblers and complete box builds. Utilize expertise in building wire harnesses, assemble and install electrical systems at this growing company. This role offers an average of 20% of annual earnings in bonuses to your base pay! Semi-annual pay increase opportunities, along with company-subsidized health insurance, free dental, disability, and life insurance.

 This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with terminal applicators to ensure proper termination and connection of wires and cables.
  • Perform wire and cable preparation, including stripping, crimping, and soldering, to meet specifications.
  • Interpret and comprehend blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to wire and route cables accurately.
  • Effectively navigate engineering documents, such as work instructions and diagrams, to ensure proper assembly and installation.
  • Employ various test equipment and tools to verify the functionality and integrity of electrical systems.
  • Adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures throughout the wiring process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues or discrepancies, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and technicians, to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
  • Continuously maintain and update knowledge of wire harness assembly techniques, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and inventory management of wire harness components and tools.

Education

Minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices related to wire harness assembly.
  • Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy objects and work in confined spaces when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work area, including proper storage and inventory management of wire harness components and tools.
