AP Professionals is partnering with a local transportation equipment manufacturer that is searching for an Electrical Technician. This position is morning shift and will perform electrical and electrical components assembly for transportation interiors.


  • Perform assembly of electrical and electronic components and sub-assemblies intended for use in transportation equipment.
  • Assemble electronic components, including installation, alignment, and wiring connection based on technical drawings.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions; communicate information effectively within the team.
  • Route wires, assemblies, and install electrical and electronic components in passenger transportation units (e.g., main junction boxes, control panels) using specified tools and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty components to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests on electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, and plugs using tools such as ohmmeters and test lights.
  • Troubleshoot issues and interpret PLC software.
  • Perform HIPOT testing and adhere to Quality Assurance Standards and measurement specifications.
  • Beyond installation, oversee safety, training, parts inventory, implement lean 5S practices, and collaborate with team members at all levels.


  • High school or equivalent diploma is required


  • 4 years Electrical Assembly experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Must possess the ability to travel
  • Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
