AP Professionals has partnered with a growing local manufacturing company in search of an Electronics Assembler. In the role of Electronics Assembler, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the proper fitting and adjustment of interconnected parts, conducting repairs on sub-assemblies and major assemblies, and handling mechanical, optical, and electrical/electronic tasks. Your duties will also encompass inspecting and testing both your own work and the work of your colleagues to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Electronic Process Details to assemble a range of products and subassemblies, such as cables, mechanical assemblies, surface mounts, and printed circuit boards.
  • Expertly solder, de-solder, and perform rework on both subassemblies and final units.
  • Engage in self-inspection to ensure the quality of your work and consider inspecting the work of others to emphasize the significance of maintaining high standards.
  • Actively contribute input and recommendations for updating process details by utilizing Engineering Change Numbers (ECN).
  • Strictly adhere to all Company procedures and policies related to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
  • Foster close collaboration with an onsite team to guarantee the punctual delivery of our products and consistently exceed customer expectations.

Education

  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience

  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics assembly, including soldering expertise on printed circuit boards.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficient in soldering, de-soldering, and reworking assemblies, with experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
  • Familiarity with IPC-610 and JStandard 001 standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
  • Competent in using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to complete necessary tasks.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding color-coded Process Details.
  • Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Programs for various tasks.
  • Enthusiastic about working collaboratively with an exceptional team and maintaining a positive work environment.
