FP&A Manager

AP Professionals has partnered with a well-established, family-owned company in search of a FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for improving and optimizing financial processes to align with the company’s strategic goals, lead transformation initiatives across finance and accounting, streamline reporting workflows, and support the integration of newly acquired entities into core financial systems. This position is fully onsite.

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system integrations within finance and accounting.
• Streamline workflows by reducing manual tasks and enhancing reporting through technology partnerships.
• Lead post-acquisition financial integration efforts and support change management across teams.
• Conduct training to align staff with updated systems and procedures.
• Monitor key performance metrics and ensure accuracy through data validation and reconciliation.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and other departments to align operations with strategic goals.
• Explore emerging technologies to enhance financial processes and support innovation.
• Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 6 years of experience in financial operations, ideally in a fast-paced, inventory-driven environment.

• Proven leadership and change management skills, with the ability to guide and influence cross-functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and best practices in finance and accounting.
• Experienced in using financial systems, ERP platforms, BI tools, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to improve processes and foster collaboration.
