Description

AP Professionals is partnering with a leading building services company in search of a HR Shared Services Manager. This role oversees HR functions, including benefits, leave management, employee relations, performance management, and payroll support, while integrating new acquisitions into the shared services model and maintaining company culture.

Supporting approximately 200 employees across NY, NJ, and PA, this position requires up to 50% travel (driving and flying), with increased travel during key HR activities like open enrollment and compliance training. It follows a hybrid schedule (about three days in-office) and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative and growing HR team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the integration of new partner companies into the centralized payroll and benefits platform.
  • Develops strong relationships with partner companies, providing HR support and employee relations guidance.
  • Serves as a trusted resource for employees, fostering open communication and engagement.
  • Collaborates daily with the corporate HR team to address inquiries and deliver timely solutions.
  • Supports management and employees through change initiatives, boosting morale and engagement.
  • Cross-trains with HR team members to ensure seamless coverage across the organization.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive issues as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing policies for alignment with best practices.
  • Stays informed on legal and regulatory updates to maintain HR compliance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of multi-state HR management experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
