Our client is an employee-owned manufacturing company with a growing footprint.  In anticipation of an upcoming retirement, they are seeking an HR Manager to support 2 of their locations.  This position will be a key leadership role and will be key in promoting the positive culture and collaborate with other leaders to bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to the organizations ti further the overall success of the business. The customer base consists of businesses in the aerospace, medical, industrial, and transportation industries.



  • Administer HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with all Federal and State laws/regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall organization strategy.
  • Foster strong employee relations by providing guidance and counseling on HR-related issues.
  • Lead all recruitment efforts.
  • Responsible for medical and ancillary benefit plans administration.
  • Manage medical leaves (FMLA, PFL, PSL, Worker’s Compensation, etc.).
  • Maintain department records and reports.
  • Conduct training session on HR policies, procedures and compliance topics.
  • Identify opportunities and support the continuous development of our employees.



  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, combined education and relevant experience will be considered.
  •  PHR or SPHR certification preferred


  • 7-10+ years of broad general human resources experience is required that includes leadership.
  •  Experience in a manufacturign environment would be extremely beneficial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Build relations at all levels to foster an environment where employees are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and grow.
