Description

Our client is seeking an HR Manager to support business operations for two entities that are  in software development.  The HR Manager would report to the CEO and be a trusted business advisor to the leadership team.This position is responsible for driving human resources initiatives that enable HR to become fully integrated into business operations.   This position oversees HR fundamentals including employee relations, performance management, and compensation, etc. and works with managers and staff to provide leadership and guidance on HR related topics.

Responsibilities

 

  • Manages policy changes required for compliance with employment laws and regulations to include documentation, communicaiton, and implementation,
  • Manages employment issues and personnel matters in a professional manner, seeking outside counsel as needed to effectively bring to resolution.
  • Works with the CEO to manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competetiveness and employee retention.
  • Provides salary benchmarking for all positions.
  • Administers leave programs.
  • Formulates and implements employee relations strategies to ensure high employee morale, performance and retention.
  • Conducts an annual employee engagement survey and communicates survey results.
  • Builds programs and executes tactics that support employee on-boarding, development, and retention.
  • Develops effective relationship with managers by coaching on performance management, conflict resolution in line with corporate policies.
  • Leads the annual talent review process, working with business leaders on outlining succession plans, identifying high potential/high performing talent and managing development plans.
  • Recruits to meet workforce demands on a timely and organized basis to drive business initiatives.
  • Plans and executes corporate events (i.e. holiday party, summer picnic,  etc.)
  • Serves as the primary contact for facilities related vendors and maintenance issues.

Education

This position requires a bachelor's degree in human resources management or business administration.  A human resources certification is highly desired.

Experience

This positon requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in human resources with generalist-based responsibilities.
