Description

AP Professionals has an urgent need to find an Interim Business Manager for a local manufacturer from December 2024 through February 2025. This position will work 30 hours per week onsite. The Interim Business Manager will assist with accounting and finance tasks as well as payroll, benefits, and employee administration.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all check deposits accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Record all bank transactions in Sage.
  • Enter transactions in Quicken.
  • Collaborate with team to address customer credit issues, determine and set credit limits for new customers, and manage prepayments.
  • Record prepayments upon receipt.
  • Send ACS2000 weekly email.
  • Maintain MSC Baseline.
  • Send sales tax reports to the accountant for filing.
  • Handle chargeback disputes if they arise.
  • Enter PO invoices they are matched.
  • Enter non-PO invoices.
  • Record payments on the monthly recurring spreadsheet.
  • Conduct check runs (checks and online).
  • Prepare CSV files for check runs.
  • Prepare documentation for check runs.
  • Manage payroll processes.
  • Handle benefits administration.
  • Implement benefit changes.
  • Oversee employee hiring and termination processes.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements.
  • Monitor and manage email correspondence.

Experience

  • Experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience in payroll and benefits administration a plus.

  • Proficient in Sage and Quicken.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
