Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in search of a Key Account Manager. This is a highly interactive role, responsible for creating and nurturing relationships with key accounts, executing account strategies, and ensuring total customer satisfaction. The Key Account Manager focuses on business within in the United States and may be required to travel occasionally. Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment is desired along with at least 5 years of key account experience.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing business opportunities
  • Establish “C Suite” relationships with key accounts
  • Lead meetings with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on company developments, and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute account strategies that meet customer requirements and support company goals
  • Negotiate contract pricing as well as legal terms and conditions for strategic pursuits
  • Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and meet clients market challenges
  • Identify new business opportunities through market and customer insights
  • Work with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely responses to contract inquiries
  • Present marketing materials to key clients
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry/market trends to develop business opportunities

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or pharmaceuticals

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a key account management role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an FDA regulated environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
