Responsibilities
Aid in the preparation of quarterly financial & sales tax audit.
Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information and preparing journal entries as necessary.
Research items/create ad-hoc reports for management.
Analyze processes to increase efficiency and maintain internal controls.
Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure that month end deadlines are being met and information is reported accurately.
Maintain and balance general ledger accounts monthly by verifying, allocating & reconciling transactions, resolving discrepancies.
Prepare job cost analyses for field reporting and to finalize monthly reporting.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of general accounting experience
Previous COINS experience, preferred
Prior Cost Accounting experience. preferred
Prior construction industry experience, preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
Attention to detail and organized in work.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel.
