The Payroll Manager performs the day-to-day payroll function, while also ensuring compliance with wage and hourly regulatory reporting requirements. Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting or the equivalent. FCP or CPP designation preferred. At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in payroll utilizing enterprise resource planning systems. Experience with the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management system is a plus. Strong PC and spreadsheet software skills required. Extensive knowledge of payroll and human resources concepts and systems is needed. The incumbent must be able to work independently. Must have strong time management skills. This person must be able to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. Strong communication and customer service skills required. Candidates must be able to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
