Description

AP has partnered with a local accounting firm to secure a qualified Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join their team.  This position is open due to the relocation of the current employee. Our client will offer a schedule of 8:15-4:45 Monday through Friday, the opportunity to work in a "Class A" office park AND the ability to have every Friday off from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  Come join this great firm!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  •  Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
  •  Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.
  •  Works with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure office equipment is in good working order and office supplies are always on hand.
  •  Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and scanning.
  •  Works closely with other administrative staff and supports other colleagues as needed.
  •  Operates and maintains office equipment, including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  •  Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Management Team

Education

Associates Degree

Experience

Previous experience as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant.  If you have worked for an accounting firm before, that is extremely beneficial.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic software
  •  Exceptional customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in managing email correspondence professionally and effectively
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to multitask
  •  Excellent verbal and communication skills
  •  Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  •  Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and technology
  •  Flexibility, persistence, attention to detail, and high degree of accuracy
  •  Problem-solving, innovation, efficiency; knowledge of workflow systems a plu
