Description

AP Professionals of Rochester is a growing, culture-oriented recruiting agency located in Penfield, NY. Our internal office is seeking a bright, eager, and organized young college professional to join our team!  Work with our teams and gain valuable experience in Recruiting, Administration, Marketing, and Business / Sales.

An ideal start time for this individual would be the middle/end of September with flexible, part-time hours until the end of semester, with a possibility of extending hours into the winter break. We are looking for someone to be in the office with us in some combination of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Experience a fantastic culture and gain valuable hands-on experience. Responsibilities

Support multiple teams of recruiters with day-to-day operations such as:

  • Assisting in phone screening candidates and qualify for internal interview
  • Shadow in-person and virtual interviews with team members
  • Check references; using as an opportunity for Business Development when appropriate
  • Utilize an applicant tracking system (ATS) to update candidate statuses, linking and tracking candidates to jobs, and track process of jobs and candidates
  • Create job orders and attach fee schedules, job description, and any other pertinent notes
  • Create and post job descriptions to the internal AP website and other job boards
  • Track open requisitions for Engineering & Operations, Information Technology, and Sales divisions utilizing Excel spreadsheets
  • Formatting resumes to AP standards for recruiters to present to clients
  • Processing and documenting notes and write-ups from recruiters
  • Participate on client intake calls (and site visits when appropriate); attach supporting documentation in ATS
  • Assist Recruiters in processing new jobs and sourcing for candidates
  • Assist in scheduling external candidate interviews with clients and communicating feedback afterwards
  • Assist in marketing campaigns or social media posts
  • Additional support as needed

Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Experience in Canva is a plus
