Regional Controller

Our partner, a local manufacturing operation, is seeking a Regional Controller to be a strategic part of their finance function. The position is available due to a pending retirement. The primary function of this role is oversight of accounting and financial reporting for three North American sites - Canada, Rochester, and Mexico. The right person will have the ability to drive change and process improvement, but also involved in the details and not afraid to rollup their sleeves. A true coaching and developing opportunity.

Starting salary range up to $175K, plus annual bonus. Unlimited PTO is also offered.

• Review, analyze, and interpret month-end, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the region and make specific recommendations that will result in increased efficiencies and profit improvement
• Direct activities of accounting staff in support of day-to-day operations and regional analysis
• Participate as a member of the regional leadership team, including providing data-driven analysis, interpretations, and proactively recommending actions to drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate with IT and other stakeholders on initiatives such as system performance and current and future requirements
• Support regional and site management teams in preparation of financial analysis for capital expenditures, new product business, pricing or any other requests
• Maintain an internal control environment in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and US GAAP and local regulatory requirements

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• MBA and/or CPA preferred

• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of management experience
• Cost accounting experience
