• Support the Global Controller in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with global accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex or unusual transactions.
• Support the adoption of new or revised accounting standards.
• Primary interface for external auditors; includes working closely with Country Controllers who oversee statutory audits in their respective locations.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls and procedures across the global finance function.
• Provide guidance as needed to support daily accounting functions such as general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing, as well as monthly account reconciliations.
• Manage and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on financial processes and career development.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across the global finance team and other departments.
• Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and systems to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead or participate in ad-hoc finance projects such as system upgrades, financial process reengineering, and cross-border transactions.

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA and/or MBA highly preferred, but not required with the proper experience

• prior experience in a global or multi-location environment
• knowledge of IFRS is a big plus
• prior supervisory experience with direct reports
