Description

AP Professionals of Rochester has partnered with a waste management company  in Rochester in search if a Regional Manager. The Regional Manager is entrusted with the vital responsibility of overseeing and orchestrating all branch activities in a manner that prioritizes safety and fiscal prudence, all while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

This is a full time, direct hire positron.

This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment, retention, and management of all branch personnel.
  • Ensure strict adherence to operating regulations, policies, processes, and procedures within the branch.
  • Manage labor and equipment scheduling to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Pursue and attain goals set by upper management, encompassing safety and budgetary targets.
  • Monitor financial performance through comprehensive review of reports, including sales, billability, invoice/collections, and labor, to track branch progress.
  • Supervise equipment utilization and maintenance.
  • Oversee employee training and development initiatives.
  • Prioritize and uphold the health and safety standards of all personnel.
  • Guarantee that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Authorize branch expenditures within budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee the maintenance of branch equipment and inventory.
  • Provide regular measurements and reports to upper management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing of customers.
  • Collaborate with other branches to fulfill operational needs in the company's best interest.
  • Actively drive sales growth for the branch.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science preferred.

Experience

  • Familiarity with environmental regulations such as RCRA, DOT, TSCA.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental, remediation, or emergency response roles.
  • Hold a supervisory position for at least 5 years.
  • Proficient in the use of business software.
