Description

AP Professionals is collaborating with an established HVAC company, servicing all over NY State, in search of a Regional Sales Specialist, focusing in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate is capable of estimating and presenting facilities and commercial HVAC service agreements. Ideal candidates will possess at least two (2) years of experience in general sales and the HVAC industry.

 

This position pays $60-75K plus commission. Being in office and travel to client sites required. Potential for hybrid work based on discretion of management. DMV and background check are required for this position

Responsibilities

  • Gain industry knowledge and expertise in our products and services through structured training and mentorship programs.
  • Build proficiency in estimating, pricing, and selling service and preventive maintenance contracts for commercial facilities and systems.
  • Expand our service and project portfolio in the CNY region through networking, referrals, industry organizations, marketing initiatives, and energy offerings.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to bid on service agreements and design-build projects within the CNY area.
  • Evaluate and document mechanical systems and equipment to assess maintenance needs and requirements.
  • Continuously grow the service customer base by identifying, targeting, and qualifying prospective clients.
  • Leverage financial selling skills to demonstrate the value and benefits of company’s maintenance contracts to potential customers.
  • Track and follow up on all leads within the territory, documenting details such as dates, contacts, decision-makers, and conversations.
  • Develop and deliver proposals to new and existing clients, maintaining a consistent follow-up process to secure business.
  • Manage a comprehensive customer database to strengthen relationships and support long-term client development.
  • Complete all administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
  • Adhere to corporate policies regarding safety, work ethics, and time management.

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in General Sales
  • 2+ years experience / knowledge of HVAC
