Financial Controller

Controller opportunity in the Finger Lakes region in Seneca County! Above average compensation, compared to the local market. Direct the finance function for this successful small to mid-size organization. Hands-on position that is involved in the details. Oversee a team of 4-5 direct reports. Fully onsite role.

• ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily operating reports and monthly financial statements
• provide financial analysis to aid executives and management with strategic decision making
• oversee the day-to-day accounting functions
• manage cash flow
• collaborate with purchasing department to manage inventory
• budgeting and variance analysis
• maintain company-wide checks and balances / internal controls
• support and develop staff

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• MBA and/or CPA preferred, but not required

• 5+ years of experience in a financial management position
• prior experience with private equity partners a plus
