Description

AP professionals is partnering with a local software company in search of a Senior Account Executive to manage the sales cycle of their Continuity solutions. The role involves building relationships with key decision-makers and purchasers, utilizing cloud-based technologies. The ideal candidate must be innovative, assertive, and able to identify new opportunities. This position is based in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Devise solutions to intricate technology-based business challenges and opportunities that require a deep understanding of client buyer requirements.
  • Communicate with senior management personnel at clients, establish pursuit strategies, cultivate client messaging plans and relationships, and employ industry-leading Cloud transformation techniques and practices.
  • Possess a degree of autonomy in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
  • Collaborate with teams and lead specific team sales activities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years of work experience)

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years selling and closing deals in the professional services space including: Technology Services such as consulting and development services, expertise/selling experience in voice data migration/data conversion, Workforce Engagement, or Cloud technology
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling consulting and/or outsourcing services
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales Pursuit Management
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in direct sales with managing a quota
  • Experience with CRM applications and contact research tools preferred (ex. Salesforce, Infotelligent)
  • Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing cloud migration, modernization, cloud native development, or cloud managed services
  • Experience with C-level client relationship building and relationship management
