Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a software company in search of an Enterprise Senior Account Executive. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic, consultative sales to key accounts within the Electronics, Robotics, and Semiconductor industries. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate complex use cases of the company's SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business within the Electronics, Robotics, and Semiconductor industries; experience with managing named enterprise accounts is required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across R&D, engineering, legal, and innovation teams.
  • Understand client challenges in innovation, recommending tailored solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies to better position the company's offerings.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with both client needs and company goals; contribute to internal business reviews.
  • Deliver clear, compelling product demos and presentations that highlight value and ROI.
  • Accurately manage pipeline activity and forecasting using the MEDDIC framework in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client success.
  • Attend trade shows and in-person meetings to support business development and relationship-building efforts.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Intellectual Property, or a closely related field—or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally involving SaaS, innovation tools, or IP-related solutions sold to mid-market or enterprise manufacturers in the electronics, robotics, and semiconductor sectors.
  • Proven success selling into the Electronics, Robotics, and Semiconductor space, with a solid understanding of its innovation and R&D landscape. A pre-established network of industry contacts is highly preferred.
  • Track record of closing high-value deals with multi-month sales cycles.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
  • Comfortable using sales-related software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Teams) as well as company-specific platforms.
  • Self-driven and goal-focused with the ability to work independently.
  • Strategic, innovative mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.
