Senior Accountant

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial controls
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close procedures
• Perform revenue recognition and month-end journal entries
• Manage project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and revenues
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees (no prior experience needed)
• Lead accounts payable processes, including corporate credit card reconciliations
• Post cash transactions and maintain cash flow records
• Review and approve expense reports in compliance with company policies
• Assist with project closeout and billing processes as needed
• Ad hoc work and projects as assigned by Controller

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• graduate degree and/or CPA a plus, but not required
• in-process licensure would be supported

• 1-4 years of progressive accounting experience, whether in public, corporate, or a combination
• knowledge of standard Excel functions (vlookup, etc)
