Description

AP Professionals has partnered with a premier local manufacturing company in search of a Senior Manager, Finance. This company is open to a Director title for the right candidate and experience. The ideal candidate in this role will meet corporate financial objectives, drive profitability and improve margins while providing hands-on leadership, detailed financial analysis, and managing a team of five reports. This is a hybrid position with some travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the US leadership team.
  • Responsible for driving business growth, capturing market share, and meeting commercial, financial, and operational goals.
  • Develop and manage processes for the Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Strategic Plan, and quarterly forecasts. This includes zero-based planning and system reconciliation for various financial aspects such as consumption, net sales, headcount costs, CapEx, sales and marketing spend, and employee benefits.
  • Provide business insights, creating detailed revenue and order tracking systems, optimizing costs, and advising sales leadership on opportunities.
  • Prepare financial analyses, understanding the market, and promote a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Develop a detailed revenue reconciliation and forecast process, partnering with sales and operations leaders to track monthly orders, and understanding the OpEx and CapEx structure to identify cost efficiencies.
  • Analyze sales channels and product portfolios, providing strategic counsel to sales leadership.
  • Synthesize complex data for executive decision-making.
  • Analyze market share performance and competitor financial results.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance leadership position at a multinational company.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Extensive proficiency with the Hyperion EPM suite of products.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, particularly in depreciation accounting and prepaid expenses.
  • Proven ability to independently research, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized.
  • Experience managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
