Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise all tax and compliance filings to meet the organization's legal reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with the appropriate authorities and collaborate with our tax and legal partners.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and payments.
  • Manage additional reporting, including franchise tax, state incentives, and registrations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including tax laws.
  • Oversee the adequacy of corporate general liability and D&O insurance.
  • Assist in implementing new policies and procedures.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA preferred.

Experience

  • Over 5 years of accounting experience, including work in the manufacturing industry.
  • Supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledgeable about current tax requirements and generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting to changes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
