Description
AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of an Electronics Test Technician. This is a critical role working alongside a team of other Test Technicians to perform functional tests on all products and complete proper reporting and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have completed electronics related education or training (an associate’s degree, military, or technical training) and have at least 5 years of electronics test experience.
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity

Responsibilities
- Execute test procedures for all products
- Ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain documentation of test results
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues
- Communicate design or software issues to the Product Development team
- Continuous improvement of test processes
- Assist Production by answering questions and problem solving
- Build test fixtures to simplify testing and increase productivity
- Assist Customer Support upon request
Education
- An associate’s degree in a related field or relevant training is desired.
Experience
- 5+ years of electronics test experience
- Experience with oscilloscopes, frequency counters, DMM's, signal generators, and other test equipment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Knowledge of ISO procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Proficient with PCB CAD viewer and schematic software
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with quality standards outlined in IPC-A-610
- Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuitry, microprocessors, computers, networking, and radio frequency preferred
