VP Finance

High-level opportunity with one of the largest suppliers in our region! Very stable and long-standing business. Owned by a large, global company which equates to advancement opportunities as the business continues to grow. The VP Finance will report directly to the company president and work closely with senior management. Onsite role with flexibility, including the ability to plan for your day outside of 9:00am to 3:00pm core hours. Above average annual bonus target in the 20-25% range!

• Oversees accounting personnel and functions in the day-to-day financial activities and the preparation of internal financial statements.
• Works closely with the president and other senior members of management on financial planning, corporate vision, and strategic planning.
• Provide leadership and support for the evaluation of capital expenditures, contracts, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and other financial matters.
• Prepares operating budgets and management reports; makes independent economic analyses of business opportunities; and evaluates the financial impact of related actions being considered by the corporation.
• Organizes, interprets, and presents operating and financial data.
• Recommend and lead new efforts to improve management and financial performance.
• Ensure that adequate controls are implemented and maintained to safeguard financial risk and assets of the organization.
• Works in conjunction with auditors in the preparation of audited financial statements.
• Ensures compliance with tax laws in several states, including collection, payment and reporting.

• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA and/or MBA highly preferred

• 6+ years of relevant financial management experience
• experienced with financial modeling and analysis, including cash flow and business case analysis
• Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and work as part of a team
