AP Professionals of Rochester is active with several professional and community organizations. Many of our Recruiters serve as Board Members and several are involved in special committees and events. Through these local affiliations we maintain key business relationships and expand our knowledge of the Rochester job market. Greater Rochester Enterprise (GRE)
AP Professionals has been a GRE Investor Partner since 2018. GRE is an economic development organization. It serves the Greater Rochester, NY region by attracting new investments and economic growth. Through our partnership, we strive to create new, local jobs and assist with workforce and recruitment training needs.
Genesee Valley Chapter SHRM
Alanna Marriott has been an active member since 2017 She has served on the Board of Directors since 2017, and is the current Membership Coordinator.
Kim Bruno has been an active member since 2012. She served on the Board of Directors from 2013 –2017, previously holding roles as Treasurer (2017), and the College Relations Chair (2013 – 2017). She has also served as a Committee Member for the Annual Conference since 2013 and the Annual Legal Update since 2015.
Greater Rochester Area Payroll Association (GRAPA)
Alanna Marriott has been an active member since February 2012. She currently serves as the Membership Director on the Board of Directors.
Melissa Houghtalen was an active member from September 2017 to September 2019.
Kim Bruno was an active member from 2005 – 2017. She was the Treasurer from 2013 – 2017 and the Co-President from 2011 – 2013.
New York State Society of CPAs ( NYSSCPA)
Matt Taylor is an active member, and current Chapter Board Member. He served as the NextGen CPA Committee Chairman from 2010 – 2017.
Laurie Enright has been a participant for several years.
National Human Resources Association – Rochester Affiliate (NHRA)
Jennifer Garigen is currently the Board Adviser and Pro-ROC Treasurer. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2006 in previous roles as Past President (2016 – 2017), President (2015 – 2016), President Elect (2014 – 2015), Volunteer Coordinator (2013 –2014), and Treasurer (2006 – 2013). She was the Committee Chair for the 2013 Silent Auction and Committee Chair for the HR Executive of the Year Award from 2014 – 2015. Jennifer was the Member of the Year in 2009 and 2014.
Ann Leahy served on the Board of Directors as Secretary from 2015 –2019. She was a committee member for the annual Silent Auction in 2010–2013, and a committee member for the annual Summer Social event from 2014–2018. Ann was the Member of the Year in 2010.

Matt Taylor has been an active participant since October 2018.

Jennifer Garigen has been an active participant since September 2017 and a Conference Planning Committee Member since 2018.
CURE Childhood Cancer Association
Matt Taylor has been an active member since 2018. He currently serves as a Board Member. Formerly, he served as a Fundraising Committee Member
Flower City Habitat for Humanity
Matt Taylor has been an active participant since 2018. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Volunteer Experience and Governance Committees.

Jennifer Garigen has been an active member of the Emerging Leaders Society since June 2016.
