Customer Service/Buyer

Our client has a contract position available immediately. Take your career to the next level. This position is Mon- Fri 8-4:30, pay is $20-21 AND offers a hybrid schedule. After training on site you will work Mon, Thurs and Fri remotely. Tuesday and Wednesday will be on site. This is what the schedule currently looks like, however, it can change at any time and it is expected that you will be able to adjust to the change.

Duties and Responsibilities:

● Monitors an electronic mailbox where questions come in daily

● Respond back to end user in a timely manner with a resolution.

● Ensures professional relationships are cultivated with customers and suppliers while maintaining the highest of ethical standards.

● Work in conjunction with the buyers to address any concerns

● Reviews open orders, communicates back orders to customers, closes open lines that are no longer valid, updates purchase orders for firm delivery dates ensuring communication trail is maintained within purchase order for tracking and follow up.

● Accurately and efficiently supports system maintenance by entering information into ERP following established protocol.

● Assists team members as necessary to ensure departmental coverage and support.

● Performs other related duties as necessary to support the department and organization.

• Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office
• Ability to respond in a professional and well written manner to any inquiries
• Previous customer service experience (not to include retail or hospitality)
