AP Professionals is partnering with biomedical and research company seeking a strategic thinker to join their team as a Client Services Account Manager. In this role, you will represent our organization to both current and prospective clients. Ideal candidates will have a background in customer service and some scientific knowledge of the industry.


  • Engage personally and enthusiastically with customers daily to handle orders, process revisions and cancellations, address inquiries and complaints, meet special requirements, negotiate sales agreements, and exceed expectations.
  • Uphold the company’s customer service philosophy by ensuring communication is clear, timely (within 24 hours), accurate, professionally worded, and delivered with a friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's  operations to effectively communicate with and support customers.
  • Complete customer questionnaires as required.
  • Collaborate with senior management to negotiate customer contracts or special agreements.
  • Reach out to prospective customers.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met, including order selection and transportation.
  • Update databases and reports to maintain accurate records of the animal colonies.
  • Plan and participate in customer visits and conferences, both onsite and requiring travel.
  • Track and report sales figures and customer complaints to senior management.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of company and customer information.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficiency in using various computer applications, including Microsoft 365 products and Acumatica.
  • Strong interaction skills with cross-functional teams, coupled with good organizational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of products and a deep understanding of the company's customer service philosophy and procedures.
  • Ability to persuasively engage with customers, always prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Travel as needed to attend conferences and support customers.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Capacity to work with constant interruptions, always prioritizing customer needs.
