Description
AP Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturer with excellent benefits in search of a Printing Operator. As a Printing Operator, your main duty is to precisely adjust and prepare machinery based on job ticket specifications. You'll operate and maintain die cutter(s) at designated production speeds, ensuring stringent control over quality, waste, safety, personnel allocation, and workplace cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up die cutting machinery according to job specifications.
- Operate die cutting equipment efficiently and safely.
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adjust machinery settings as needed to optimize production.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Keep accurate records of production output and equipment maintenance.
Education
- High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Die Cutting Operator.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including data entry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting various documents such as safety regulations, job tickets, operating manuals, and procedural instructions.
- Competent in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Consistent attendance record is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
- Reliable and dependable work ethic is imperative.
- Able to fulfill all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Capable of lifting and carrying at least 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand continuously for an 8-hour shift.
