ERP Business Systems Specialist

AP Professionals has partnered with a local manufacturing company in search of an ERP Business Systems Specialist. In this role, you will analyze, evaluate, and implement integrated solutions within our ERP system to align with business goals and enhance operational performance. Leveraging EDI and API technologies, you’ll partner with departments across the organization to maintain data accuracy and consistency. Your strong technical expertise and systems knowledge will be essential in driving efficiency, scalability, and user satisfaction throughout the company.

• Oversee the company’s ERP, EDI, and API mapping to ensure data integrity, system functionality, and ongoing optimization.
• Monitor ERP support tickets and EDI transactions, identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies, and troubleshoot issues to maintain accurate and reliable system performance.
• Support the planning and execution of ERP, EDI, and API integration projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Manage and prioritize incoming requests, establish a clear prioritization framework, and maintain regular reporting on open items and progress updates.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for NetSuite ERP, EDI, and API processes related to sales, operations, and distribution.
• Collaborate across departments to gather business requirements, assess existing workflows, and implement effective, data-driven solutions.
• Analyze and improve data accuracy and integrity to drive process efficiencies and enhance overall business performance.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective system adoption and utilization.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Hands-on experience with CRM, ERP, EDI, and API systems is required.
• Proficiency with EDI mapping tools and related technologies.
• Experience developing or managing API integrations and web services.
• Prior experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL or Power BI is a plus.

• Solid understanding of EDI standards and communication protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data entry accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to operational needs.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Skilled in troubleshooting EDI transactions and resolving technical issues promptly.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
