AP Professionals has partnered with a local manufacturing company in search of an adept HR Manager with robust experience in manufacturing operations, payroll, and benefits administration. As the HR Manager, your primary task will involve supervising all facets of human resources management within our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant regulations, all the while nurturing a constructive and supportive work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement tailored HR policies and procedures for the manufacturing environment.
  • Spearhead recruitment endeavors to attract and retain top-tier talent for manufacturing positions.
  • Conduct comprehensive orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring thorough understanding of company policies, safety protocols, and job responsibilities.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Supervise payroll processing for manufacturing staff, ensuring precision and compliance with legal mandates.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to rectify payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay abreast of payroll laws and regulations updates, making necessary adjustments accordingly.
  • Manage employee benefits programs encompassing health insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks.
  • Educate employees on available benefits, assisting with enrollment and addressing inquiries.
  • Liaise with benefits providers to troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless benefits administration.
  • Uphold compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Remain vigilant regarding shifts in HR and employment laws pertinent to the manufacturing sector.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to pinpoint training needs and devise programs to augment employee skills and competencies.
  • Execute training initiatives concentrating on safety protocols, quality standards, and job-specific proficiencies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Demonstrated track record as an HR Manager within a manufacturing setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Familiarity with pertinent labor laws and regulations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
  • Preferred certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
