Description

AP Professionals has been retained by one of Rochester’s premier health organizations. This long-standing client is adding to their team and looking for a strong Human Resources Director with an emphasis on employee development and engagement. Responsibilities

  • Foster a performance-oriented culture through effective performance management systems.
  • Implement efficient onboarding and offboarding processes for smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with AVP of HR to implement and monitor engagement programs.
  • Develop action plans based on Pulse Surveys, Glassdoor reviews, town halls, and other feedback mechanisms.
  • Manage engagement programs, including rewards and recognition, and oversee digital engagement platforms.
  • Work with HR Leadership on the distribution and tracking of employee surveys and feedback.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce turnover, boost productivity, and enhance employee experience.
  • Maintain positive employee relationships and ensure engagement strategies are integrated into recruitment and onboarding.
  • Act as a culture ambassador and oversee recognition initiatives.
  • Build relationships with new employees, conduct regular check-ins, and compile feedback for HR and leadership.
  • Lead employee counseling on morale, health, and productivity issues.
  • Manage the learning management system.
  • Create individual development plans for top talent in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
  • Oversee required training and orientation development for all team members.
  • Develop and maintain a workforce development plan, including partnerships, targets, and metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for student and volunteer experiences to build a future employment pipeline.
  • Maintain partnerships with educational institutions and community organizations.
  • Support inclusiveness and diversity across all aspects of the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
  • Meet departmental performance standards and participate in compliance and quality improvement initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Master’s degree in HR or related field preferred.

Experience

  • 5-7 years of leadership experience in an HR role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must adhere to strict confidentiality.
  • Must work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while giving and receiving constructive feedback positively.
