Description

Our client, is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Recruiter to join their on-site Human Resources team in Clifton Springs. This individual will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and connecting qualified candidates with open positions across the organization. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and help drive the organization’s mission by supporting the recruitment of top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with Directors and Managers to understand position requirements, responsibilities, and desired qualifications.

  • Review resumes, applications, and internal data to identify qualified candidates.

  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and connect top prospects with hiring managers.

  • Verify references and credentials to ensure candidate experience and background align with position requirements.

  • Provide candidates with guidance and insight into the interview and hiring process.

  • Organize and attend job fairs, open interviews, and networking events to expand talent pipelines.

  • Follow up with hiring managers post interview to assess outcomes and gather feedback.

  • Arrange meetings between candidates and hiring managers as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws and related employment regulations.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or a related role required.

  • Experience in talent acquisition or recruiting strongly preferred.

  • SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

  • Valid NYS Driver’s License required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across culturally diverse teams and communities.

  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word and Excel.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism in a fast paced environment.
