Description

AP Professionals is collaborating with a local manufacturing company in search of a Maintenance & Electrical Technician. As a Maintenance and Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment critical to the manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment according to maintenance schedules.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose malfunctions to determine the root cause.
  • Repair or replace defective components and parts to restore equipment to optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and modifications, accurately and comprehensively.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability for maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical maintenance and aerospace manufacturing.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in electrical maintenance preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an electrical technician or maintenance technician, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment and machinery.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and controls.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
