Maintenance Electrician

AP Professionals is collaborating with an established local manufacturer that has been in business for decades in search of a Maintenance Electrician. This position is responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of electronic equipment.

• Conducts maintenance, installation, reconstruction, and rectification of equipment in accordance with specifications.
• Diagnoses and rectifies issues with electrical wiring, PLCs, controllers, lighting controls, and electric motors within a production setting.
• Investigates electrical malfunctions to identify root causes.
• Executes scheduled maintenance procedures for electrical systems to prevent issues.
• Stays updated on electrical codes and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborates with supervisors to assess necessary repairs.
• Possesses proficient understanding of electronics and programmable logic controllers, including their practical applications.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities as delegated.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 Year Vocational Certificate

• At least 1 year experience with maintaining electrical equipment.
• Electrical construction and maintenance experience.

• Comply with safety equipment protocols, including wearing a bump hat, ear and eye protection, and a hairnet.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations as an essential responsibility.
• Demonstrate effective communication abilities.
• Display willingness and capability to collaborate within a team-oriented setting.
