Quality Control Inspector

AP Professionals has partnered with a manufacturer that is looking to add a Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector holds a vital position within the Quality Assurance team, primarily focusing on inspecting Production Equipment and circuit boards, especially Surface Mount Technology. Working under the guidance of the Quality Control Supervisor, this role entails conducting thorough 100% inspections of Production Equipment and circuit boards, in addition to overseeing other aspects of inspecting Production assemblies.

• Perform 100% inspection of Production Equipment and circuit boards.
• Detect various defects like incorrect component orientation, cold solder, solder shorts, and other issues.
• Inspection includes Production Equipment and production circuit boards.
• When SMT circuit board inspection demand is low, assist in inspecting other production items like circuit boards, amplifiers, alarm systems, and communications equipment.

• Proficient in soldering with J-Standard IPC.001 certification
• Skilled in recognizing defects on circuit boards, including incorrect component orientation, cold solder, and solder shorts
• Capable of interpreting drawings and determining polarity of surface mount components
• Able to communicate problems effectively to both engineering and production staff
