Description

AP Professionals is in search of a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a non-hospital setting in Rochester. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in coordination with healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist in medical procedures and provide post-operative or chronic illness care.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving procedures as necessary.
  • Uphold patient safety, privacy, and infection control standards at all times.

Education

  • Current and valid RN license in NYS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • BLS/CPR certification (ACLS, PALS, PEARS may be required based on unit).

Experience

  • 1+ year of nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
