Security Systems Installer

AP Professionals is partnering with a local manufacturing company in the Rochester area in search of a Security Systems Installer.

• Ensure prompt and cost-effective completion of installation projects within specified timelines and budgets.
• Perform panel terminations, system start-up, and comprehensive testing of access control systems.
• Install and troubleshoot various access control systems and associated equipment, including CCTV and Card Access systems.
• Familiarity with S2/Lenel, Open Options, Axis, Paxton, Keyscan, and Exacq Vision systems is advantageous, with programming skills being a plus.
• Execute daily assignments and work orders according to schedule with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

• Possess a comprehensive grasp of work orders, products, and blueprints to effectively assess service and repair needs for security systems.
• Demonstrate proficiency in understanding contacts, access control operations, and utilizing volt meters.
• Proficiency in programming security systems and associated equipment is desirable, along with familiarity with control panel operation.
• Exhibit strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities to effectively resolve system issues and failures.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and industry-standard practices.
• Capable of conducting system turnover to clients, including providing training sessions.
• Open to travel as required for job assignments.
• Available to provide onsite service during and beyond regular business hours.
• OSHA 10 certification is advantageous.
• Scissor and Boom Lift certifications are beneficial.
