Staff Accountant

AP Professionals is partnering with a local establishment in search of a Staff Accountant.  The Staff Accountant plays a vital role in facilitating the daily operations of the Accounting department. Collaborating closely with both the Accounting team and Operations members, this role ensures seamless coordination and execution of financial tasks.

• Maintain meticulous records of vendor payments for accuracy and transparency.
• Oversee the payment process and maintain a comprehensive record of all invoices.
• Track company credit card expenditures and reconcile them on a monthly basis.
• Conduct thorough monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of accounts to ensure precision.
• Collaborate with various departments to execute accounting tasks efficiently.
• Prepare and dispatch all necessary documents promptly.
• Research and approve new vendors while establishing their accounts.
• Interface directly with the Controller during month-end close procedures.
• Routinely update aging reports on a weekly basis.
• Compile and aid in the submission of 1099 forms.
• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and enhance financial operations' effectiveness.

• Preferred 2 years' experience in Accounting or related field
