Test Technician II

AP Professionals has partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in search of a Test Technician. This role is a key member of the production team, working cross-functionally with Product Development, Production Engineering, and Sourcing teams.

This is a full time, Direct-Hire opportunity in Henrietta, NY. Pay ranges based on level and experience, from $22 to $32 per hour.

• Conduct functional testing and inspections on all product families to verify performance under real-world conditions.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Apply expertise in mechanical and electrical assembly processes to identify workmanship and performance defects.
• Collaborate with engineering to clarify defects, assist in failure recreation, and diagnose root causes.
• Operate advanced electronic equipment to gather and analyze operational data critical to unit performance.

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electronic schematics and wiring diagrams.
• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications preferred.
• Expertise in using power meters, spectrum analyzers, and digital oscilloscopes.

• Solid understanding of analog circuits.
• Extensive knowledge of digital circuits and diagnostic equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle and maneuver products weighing up to 30 lbs.
